Very bad service from Allen Joss Ford in Annlin - ford ecosport 1.0 litre


Vehicle broke down a block away from Allen Josh. This is a brand new vehicle 2 months old. The vehicle was towed to Allen Josh. I was informed that the vehicle will be placed in the workshop the next morning at 07:30. When I phoned at about 14:00 I was informed that my vehicle is not in the workshop and according to the admin personnel, also not on the premise. I rushed from Johannesburg making 3 to 4 follow ups with the dealer as I was present when my vehicle was left there. At 16:00 on my arrival at the premise, I saw one of the mechanics taking the vehicle from the spot where it was left on Thursday afternoon to the workshop. when speaking to the workshop manager he told me frankly that the security made a mistake, but that he cannot ensure my vehicle will receive urgent attention as there is 40 cars in front of me. Meaning more than 40 cars from Thursday was carried over to Friday?? When I indicate to him that I am taking this service experience to the media and wherever I can, as I can see there is absolutely nothing he is willing to assist me with, I was told bluntly that I can ask the dealer where I bought the vehicle to collect and repair the vehicle.

I waiting on Saturday in the hope that he is going to rectify this mistake and assist me, but to no avail. I was called today at 10:53 for the first time By anybody at Allen Josh to inform me that my vehicle is finally been taking into the workshop and that it is now going to receive attention.

How is it possible that a dealership can still render this "don't care" service while the media is shouting at Ford

Does this really mean that I should rather decide never to buy Ford again as well as discourage anybody from buying it. What is going to happen if that is the attitude of everyone in the country. Will Ford then still be able to provide work for its workers. ??

I don't know, it is clear that the personnel and especially the workshop manager Danie is not appreciating his job. Clearly he thinks that having this attitude toward clients is going to ensure him a job in future. ... I wonder. I for one have not even received this type of service in a post office.
