  • Auto fraud

I purchased a car on an agreed price of 13k, out the door it turned out to be 22 k. I didnt notice until a few days later to find out they changed the apr rate to a lower amount, made my term 12 months longer and addded 5k of optional fees i didnt want or even need. The gm at this location wont reply to emails or meet with me in person and they wont do anything to take care of this situation. Ford customer service wont help or transfer me because it is a ford dealership. I dont even understand why they have a customer service then. The sad part is other people have recently experienced this... More...

  • Transmission Problem

I have a 2012 Focus with a bad transmission. I could feel it the minute I drove it off the lot. I was told nothing was wrong, no matter which dealership I spoke to (I live downriver, s. of Detroit). Eventually, I was told these transmissions were changed from manual to automatic. They did a HORRIBLE job of it. It jerks, hesitates (while you pray nobody hits you), and is a nightmare to drive. I paid over $20,000 for this car. It's a pretty car and nice, but this issue is a deal breaker. The last dealership I took it to told me that Ford knows, but since none have yet killed... More...

  • FUEL PUMP

I have a 2014 Ford Escape that has been at the ford house since 5/26/15, needing a new fuel pump. i was informed that it was on backorder and they were not sure when they would receive one. There is only 19,000 miles on the car and the fuel pump goes out. it is under warranty so i was given a 2012 Ford escape to drive. I am wanting to know a estimate on when i could possibly expect to get my car back. The dealership cant seem to give me one. More...

  • Ford fiesta 2013

My daughter bought her car 2nd hand from a dealer and paid over $10k for the car. In that time she has had to take the care back to the dealer 2 times due to the fact while she was driving the steering wheel fell down in her lap and she had to pull over and nearly crashed. They fixed the problem so they said and again the same problem happened. Her warranty has just expired and now I am worried if she was driving on the highway and this happened what could be the outcome for her and my granddaughter also. Is this a defect problem or what? Is there anything she can do to fix this problem... More...

  • Scammed, overcharged, lied to

I was lured into Nevada Auto Mall, Nevada Ford, Nevada, MO under the pretense they would charge $250 to replace all sparkplugs with 1/2 day of labor on my 2005 Ford 500. Instead they had the car in by 9:30am and out by 11:14am and charged $282 labor and a total of $453.21 AND THE CAR WAS NOT FIXED. They did not test drive it at any time. And other mechanics have stated the sparkplugs were not even replaced. They lied to BBB and claimed they did diagnostics and they test drove it the first day and when I went back because it was running rough and does not even sound the same. The... More...

  • Bad Car deal

My name is Wendi Palmer. I was diagnosed with MS in October 2006. I had a Buick Rendevouz that I paid off in February of 2012. All at once a lot of things started to go wrong on my car, but the biggest issue of all was the air not working. Being diagnosed with MS and no AC in my car was very bad for my health and the safety of my children. Not only that, the suspension was going bad and the ABS light kept coming on. I didn’t have the money to get these things fixed so I figured get a new car where you don’t have to worry about mechanics, just pay the note keep up with... More...

  • Excessive and Unathorized Credit Inquiries

Attempted to purchase a vehicle in 2011 from Dunn-Benson Ford in Dunn NC.I found the salespeople to be very friendly and helpful.I was not pleased however, with the finance department. In attempting to qualify me for a loan, there were 16 unauthorized hard credit inquiries registered to my credit account in a period of 1 day. When attempting to contact the dealership for clarification on this issue, got no reply.Went into the dealership with a credit rating in the high 700's and left with my score in the mid 500's because of the high number of hard credit inquiries. Is this standard... • Rear Brakes

I purchased a 2011 F-350 Super Duty. The rear brakes squeal every morning until you use them a half dozen times or so. This truck costs a small fortune so you should expect a superior product. After three trips to the dealership maintenance shop, they finally admit the noise is there but say they all do that. I understand it is not a safety issue but it is annoying, embarrassing, and I have to tell everyone who asks me what is that terrible noise; that Ford is aware of the problem but does not have a solution. I have always been a GM Truck owner. This was the first Ford truck I purchased in... More...

  • Fuel System

Call me furous!! Due to a manufacturing error this small fuel system hose cost me over $2000.00 which is not covered in any warrenty plan. I purchases the plaitinum extended warrenty for $2200.00 to avoid such cost and this part is not covered! This part had to be installed incorrectly at the plant; it is not accessable without taking apart the wheel well around /under the gas tank. This hose was faced downward which allowed water to enter the fuel system. After sever weather condition (Rain and snow) driving to work one night the damage was done. The entire fuel system needs to be... More...

  • Aluminum wheels for f350 pickups

I have great concern as the F350 Lariat I own has caused me great concern. The "Aluminum Wheels (rims) I have as stock are giving us grief of a serious order". Request you respond to me regarding this issue. The vehicle is a F350 year 2006 purchased at Depratu Ford in Whitefish, mt. The rim of the wheels are splitting. We drive on National Highways and seldom on gravel older roads. The actual rim has split on my left front tire and had to replaced by myself as my dealer stated there no warranty on wheels of my make. I now have an additional issue of the same thing on the...
