  • Transmission Problem



    I have a 2012 Focus with a bad transmission. I could feel it the minute I drove it off the lot. I was told nothing was wrong, no matter which dealership I spoke to (I live downriver, s. of Detroit). Eventually, I was told these transmissions were changed from manual to automatic.   • FUEL PUMP



    I have a 2014 Ford Escape that has been at the ford house since 5/26/15, needing a new fuel pump. i was informed that it was on backorder and they were not sure when they would receive one. There is only 19,000 miles on the car and the fuel pump goes out. it is under warranty so i was given a 2012 Ford escape to drive.     My daughter bought her car 2nd hand from a dealer and paid over $10k for the car. In that time she has had to take the care back to the dealer 2 times due to the fact while she was driving the steering wheel fell down in her lap and she had to pull over and nearly crashed.     Fordputmeinthepoor. I have a 2012 Ford focus. Its been at OC welch Ford in Hardeeville, SC for repairs since 4-01-15. I needed a fuel pump. Its on back order and I have been informed today that it might be 2 MORE weeks before they are able to receive the part. ( I had already struggled for a week.     on November 20th 2014 I bought a Kuga from Hendy ford in Chandlers Ford and I am still waiting for delivery. The car is registered and taxed from November, the car was delivered to Dagenham and is still there. The dealer has done everything they can to get information but are getting nowhere . Can anyone help me, I purchased with a privilege voucher so I can't even cancel the order.     Poor customer service. NEVER received any recall for a manifold that I had to pay out of pocket for and now engine leaks...I have replaced manifold intake, outtake, alternatur, calibers, radiator hoses and the radiator, the serpentine (of course), brakes, oil gaskets, all spark plugs, tranny treatment...rear differential four times, yes 4 TIMES WITH NO HELP FROM FORD.   • Scammed, overcharged, lied to



    I was lured into Nevada Auto Mall, Nevada Ford, Nevada, MO under the pretense they would charge $250 to replace all sparkplugs with 1/2 day of labor on my 2005 Ford 500. Instead they had the car in by 9:30am and out by 11:14am and charged $282 labor and a total of $453.21 AND THE CAR WAS NOT FIXED. They did not test drive it at any time. And other mechanics have stated the sparkplugs were not even replaced.     I have a complaint against Ford Motor Company of Canada Ltd., but couldn't find how to submit a complaint on this site. My 2005 Ford Escape, like hundreds of others posted on the internet, has such severe rusting in the rear passanger tire well, and beginning to do likewise in the driver rear, that it is unsafe to drive, with the shock hanging by a thread.     I took my Ford F150 to Buckeye Ford on the advice of Grange insurance for repair of hitting a deer. After a 3 week waiting period I was informed that truck was all ready to go.     This is in regards to Expressway Fords handling of my grandson's experience with them on May20,2014. He had put a deposit on a 2003 Lincoln at that time they put a sold sign with the salesmen name.When we went to sign papers and pick it up they had already sold it.     Bought a 2012 Ford Eco Boost this last spring (love the truck) went for an oil change to my mechanic and he spotted a oil pan leak. My ex husband worked at Ford Mo Co for 30 some odd yrs he retired from Woodhavenstamping pl for awhile we both received lump sum like Christmas Bonus until last year that was very helpful at Christmas time times are hard we can't even afford gifts now . Why do the Retirees have to suffer for something that the now employees bargained away no one should be able to touch anything the retirees receive they already put in valuable time working for FORDS . It's pretty bad when grandparents can't afford to get the Grandchildren Son and Daughters gifts. Do you think the lump sum or bonus will come back.? I recently purchased a new high end 2013 Ford Explorer from Oxmoor Ford in Louisville, KY. On the day I purchased it, as I was taking delivery of the vehicle I found a problem with passenger side mid-row seat fold forward. The sales person saw the same issue and told me to bring the $50k Explorer back and he check it out. Went back into Oxmoor Ford and the problem seems to be a faulty release mechanism. I have now been back into the dealership twice and must return a 3rd time for an issue wrong at delivery. This time I will need to wait or leave the vehicle for who knows how long. What a screwed up mess for a brand new vehicle.

I am quite upset with Ford. I recently purchased a 2006 Ford Escape about a month ago. My first Ford because I normally buy saturns. Just a day ago I notice rust with a hole eaten away under the medal on the passager rear wheel. I took it to a Ford dealership and was told the rust warranty ran out less then 2 months ago. So Im screwed by 2 months and having to pay over 10,000 for a vehicle that will so be a rusty piece of no good metal. Cant Ford make a vehicle that doesnt rust in less the 5 yrs. My saturn is 9yrs old and not a speck of rust on it. I should have bought a saturn SUV. I will never buy a ford again. Im sticking with GMC or a foreign car. (not toyota)

2006+ F350-F550 International engine (aka Powerstroke diesel)

Complaint:
very poor air filter installation design, Very difficult to remove and replace air filter into cheesy plastic end cap lock tabs at bottom of housing and just as hard to get end caps to seat all the way around the filter, not to mention the whole time you are fighting with this process you have skinned up hands and the cheap metal bail clips have popped out of their plastic locating tabs and dropped down some where into no man's- land.
You may think that the air filter is in correctly because you cannot see the bottom side, but in fact it may not be seated and lo and behold it has been sucking in dirt on the clean air side and potentially dusting your multi-thousand dollar engine. (oh sorry we cannot warranty that, That's customers fault). This should be re-designed....

I have a 2011 mustang gt 5.0 would like to know why the rpm jumps when shifting, this automatic has no kick to it at all. I bought fords all my life and this 6 speed is the worst shiffting of all.

we bought a new 2009 ford f150 im march. we only got 14 km per 100. the engine light came on and they said for the second time that it was the censor , because the first time they made a mistke in diagnosing it.so the new sencor went on and now we only grt 10km per 1oo ltrs .and we ordered a new boxliner 2 months ago still waiting we bought 2 vehicles and dont like the service at all. we have always been ford people but i dont know anymore.not happy in durham.

When we purchased the this vehicle, Escape Limited, we were told by the salesperson that we getting a different vehicle after we made several request for a certain color, options and a certain price. We were told that this model would be fully equipped with all of the options the Limited Edition without the leather seats. The vehicle was only equipped with a moon roof. I am paying for a vehicle that is not worth the amount I will be paying. I am paying more for a vehicle that is not worth the price. I also told Avis Ford that I have five children and I needed room for two car seats. We were never shown a model of the Escape, nor did we get to test drive it.

Just bought a 2009 Ford F150, I have 350 miles on it so far. Looked under hood for first time today, all the wiring is wrapped in what looks like electrical tape and is starting to unravel in spots. Every thing is cheap looking, don't lean againest anything. Wish I picked up hood at dealers before I bought it instead of reading how great it was in these car books.

edge is a lemon-avoid at all costs
2007 edge in repair 5 times- leaky ptu unit.leaked so bad caused engine fire- 22,000 miles and after owning 6 fords it will be my last !
